Hailing from Zagreb, Croatia is the world's leading force in Electro. Born in 1981 in a small town named Osijek, Bojan Jascur aka N-ter has been producing hit after hit since 1999 and is a true Electro Activist. His debut release "Egoboo Bits" was the first record of its type to come out of Croatia and led to the creation of the Crobot Crew. Originally formed with his partner DJ Xed, the Crobot Crew and Crobot Muzik were founded by N-ter to promote the Electro and Ghettotech sounds throughout Eastern Europe.

Crobot Muzik found immediate success through their critically acclaimed releases and garnered the attention of the Heavyweights in the industry who continuously play and chart their music. Since then, N-ter has released his original music on some of the world's leading record labels. From his A.U.X. 88 remixes on Puzzlebox Records to his original selections on Twilight 76, Databass, Diggarama, Sonic Walker, Drivecom and Subsonic Device, N-ter's production work is in high demand. He has done remixes for A.U.X.88, DJ Godfather, Exzact, Paul Blackford and the Autonomous Bassheads to name a few. Back with a new episode of the Bang Tech 12 podcast, this time featuring Sneaky aka Joe Christopher. Owner of FTWEM.Com (Fort Wayne Electronic Music) a website supporting his home town’s Electronic Music scene, Sneaky is also an Event Promoter (manages bookings, sound system and event coordination for Fort Wayne’s longest running music monthly Second Saturday, plus one off events held in Fort Wayne). A member of Bang Tech 12, being a DJ and Producer with over a decade of experience, we're proud to present to you this extended mix by Sneaky to make of for the time in between episodes for the faithful.

This edition of our podcast features Indianapolis native, Taylor Norris playing LIVE on LFORadio.com. DJ Mo Reese excites crowds with his unique brand of House music. A Detroit native, his music is steeped in the tradition of his hometown and blended with his own soulful, funky style.
Influenced by such legends as Dennis Ferrer, Kevin Saunderson, Todd Terry, Derrick May and Roger Sanchez, Terrence Parker, DJ Mo Reese has entertained around the world for over 20 years. A crowd of over 100,000 was blown away as he performed his special four turntable set at the Detroit Movement Festival. He banged the box at the Cornerstone Event before a crowd of 600+. DJ Mo Reese shined at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, and has been featured on stations WGPR, WJLB and WHYT, where he won the Mixidome contest. He currently hosts an internet radio program on Friday and Saturday evenings at MOCRadio.com.
As a performer/producer, DJ Mo Reese inspires audiences with his uplifting and soulful style of House music. When you see and hear him perform you will definitely experience the “Hump Factor”.
In 2006, DJ Mo Reese did a remix track of “I’m Happy” on Superb Entertainment, and in 2008 he released his first CD, “Mo Traxx” on Parker Music Works. One of the staples of the Midwest underground for the past decade, Teknobaby is well known for promoting underground events and turning it out on the tables. Being active in the EDM scene since 1994, he has certainly seen his share of the spotlight. Spinning alongside artists such as Heather Heart, Dave Hollands, Terry Mullan, Josh Wink, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, DJ Sneak, Robert Armani, DJ Dan and Claude Young, Teknobaby has the skills and talent to make his mark on any event.
Growing up on hip hop as a teen, Teknobaby collected records such as the Sugar Hill Gang, Fat Boys, Run DMC, and the Beastie Boys. Attending teen clubs every weekend, Teknobaby teamed up with a breakin' crew and performed at several clubs around the city. Teknobaby's favorite artists were Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh, later followed by electronic artists such as DEE-Lite, Technotronic, Snap, and many others.
Teknobaby's love of electronic music began in 1989 when he discovered CD's such as Rave Til Dawn and 140 BPM. In 1990, Teknobaby purchased his first house record by Lil Louis' called French Kiss. A few months later, Teknobaby attending his first rave and fell in love with the music and a new form of dance. Teknobaby spent a few years traveling the U.S., dancing til the sun came up, while studying all variations of house, techno, jungle, and trance in the underground scene.
In 1994, after producing several underground events and trying his hand on the 1200's, Teknobaby traveled to the Underground Record Store in Orlando and began ordering records from Chris Fortier, DJ Icey and Kimball Collins. From there, Teknobaby also began a collection of acid tracks, ordering from DJ Sneak at Gramophone Records in Chicago. This included hits like Robert Armani's "Circus Bells", a few by Hyperactive, and many others.
From 1995 to 1996, Teknobaby began touring as a DJ, spinning at underground events, while holding a residency at Sparks, a local night club in Louisville, KY. In early 1996, Teknobaby's love for techno directed him to Heather Heart at Sonic Groove Records in New York where he finally discovered his true style.
From 1996 to 1999, Teknobaby toured the South and Midwest, bringing the techno flavor to all who would endure it, while throwing some reputable underground events in several cities in the Midwest.

It may be impossible to catergorize Katalist. He began with Drum & Bass/Hip Hop, progressed to House/Techno/Electro, currently holds 3 residencies as a Club DJ, and also DJs for the likes of Burton and Skull Candy. His passion is for the underground, but he tailors each individual set to the crowd at hand.
The set he has done for us is a voyage into house music, with the currents bringing in his different styles. Entitled "Petrus," after one of his favorite Belgian sour beers, the session seems to be aged to perfection giving unique and eclectic blend of his influences.
"I get bored very easily, especially with music,. Don't take that the wrong way, I mean, I mix fast and remix/edit most of the stuff that i play, to keep it interesting, different, and always evolving."

A late bloomer, "The Vandal" was a student in the classroom of many talented local acts. He observed for years some of the finest acts that Detroit has had to offer from all genres. Nowadays, reflecting back on the insight that others have kindly shared, he is enjoying his own journey thru the various moods of music that techno provides. A true "In it for the love of it" individual, he falls in line like other diehards locally that believe that Detroit is still a very special aptmosphere to behold and cherish. Most of all, he calls the darker soundbank of synths and melodies in combination with aggressive basslines and percussion his true love.

Ben Wu has been DJ'ing for over a decade. His style has constantly been evolving and changing from day one. You could describe his music now as being somewhere between Techno and House depending on Ben's mood and the gig. He does have a fondness for that Acid sound though….."Everybody needs a little 303."

From 1998 to 2003, while attending Eastern Michigan University, Ben spent weekends traveling all over Detroit, Ohio and especially Canada playing late night raves and nightclubs. Some of Ben Wu's highlights include playing the infamous Motor Lounge in Detroit and Ann Arbor's Necto many times, holding a Saturday residency at Detroit Science and even playing the World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF) in Toronto

In 2002, his mix-CD, "PHUNKY MONKEY V.2", turned heads across the country getting reviewed in the October issue of the electronic music magazine, URB. That same year, Ben started his weekly internet radio show of the same name on Toronto's Club 246.

At the end of 2003, Ben and his wife Natalie packed it up and moved to San Diego to experience something new and to see what the Left Coast had to offer. The offerings were plentiful as he spent the next 3 years headlining shows up and down the coast from San Diego to L.A. to San Francisco. He was also continuing to run and promote his highly successful internet mix show and frequently came back to his hometown of Detroit to play, especially during the Detroit Electronic Music Festival weekend.

Today, that crazy thing called life has brought Ben and his family to Indianapolis and back to the Mid-West scene. The area has welcomed him back with open arms. Not only has he played locally numerous times, but Fort Wayne, Detroit, St. Louis, Louisville, and Chicago have all shown him love with the opportunity to do what he does best, which is rock a dancefloor. Ben has had the great honor to have headlined Chicago’s Ruby, Wax and Vision Nightclubs on several occasions.

Ben Wu is the Manager of the Indiana branch of Bang Tech 12. This Detroit based DJ/Producer collective and Management Company is dedicated to bringing the masses the best in electronic music and has done so since 1996. Since then, it has expanded to hold offices in 5 States. WIth the help of Taylor Norris and Sneaky, Ben is helping promote electronic music in Indiana the same way he manages a dancefloor, with integrity and passion.

This is the first mix done by DJ Seoul in over a year. With such a rigorous touring schedule, we are glad that Seoul has taken the time to make this new mix for us. This is an all Techno mix done in the style of Detroit Techno.

Brandon Watkins is one of the original four members of Bang Tech 12. As the owner of Hangar 18 Records in Ypsilanti, Brandon was instrumental in the formative years of Bang Tech. The record store was not only a central meeting place, but was also a practice area for each of the DJ's and gave them all a chance to learn from some of the great performers of that time.

Since then, Brandon has moved away from Detroit and currently lives in Florida. The sun and the surf have not affected his ability to produce quality music. This talented musician has been releasing music since 2000 and has two tracks that are now available on the Bang Tech 12 Artist Compilation that debuted at the 2009 D.E.M.F.

Brandon is also an extremely talented DJ that is known for his amazing scratching ability that he obtained from his Hip Hop background. He applies this in many different ways to his sets no matter what style of music he is performing.

8en is one of Bang Tech 12'2 founding members. He suprised us recently with a new mix that he did just for this podcast.

Mark Moss was raised outside of St. Louis and discovered electronic music through his Uncle who was getting all the new sounds out of Chicago and Detroit in the late ‘80’s. He began learning to DJ at the tender age of 12 with Acid House and the new rave sounds coming out of Belgium and the UK. During early 1991 Mark discovered what was then known as "breakbeat", which became hardcore and later Jungle. He immediately fell in love with hardcore and the emerging Jungle sounds. Mark's family moved to the Detroit area in 1992 and he began going to parties, noticing a lack of (and hatred of) Jungle in the Detroit scene. Mark then began his mission to aid Detroit in its Jungle deficit and began playing anywhere he could, from parties to houses to radio to retailers such as Urban Outfitters in Ann Arbor. In 1997 8en helped found Kinetics, (the original Detroit Jungle night and crew) and became a rotating resident/ face in the Detroit scene with hundreds of appearances at legendary venues such as the Motor Lounge, Alvin’s, the Blind Pig and the Magic Stick.

Mark took a 6 year hiatus from Detroit; winning the Daytona Beach annual DJ contest and becoming runner-up in URB magazine’s first mixtape contest, then retired from Dj-ing in 2001. Upon moving back to the Detroit scene in Summer 2006, he began to sneak his way back in with an onslaught of old school hardcore and Jungle.

Today, 8en stays true to his old school roots by playing hits and rarities from ’91-‘97 and continues to entertain and educate all Junglists with quick, short attention-span mixes, classic tunes and nonstop energy. Influences include DJ Hype, DJ SS, Ratty, Swan-E, Altern8 and Bizzy B

Sneaky is a big part of the Indianapolis Branch of Bang Tech 12 and the driving force behind the Fort Wayne EDM movement.

Sneaky aka Joe Christopher resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana and grew up right between Detroit and Chicago giving him the best there was to offer in electronic music when it was starting to blow up in the 90's. Sneaky got his first taste of electronic music when he first heard the sounds of Plastikman during the 90's and since has embraced electronic music with all of his soul. After having attended many parties, he decided in early 2000 that he wanted to be an orchestrator of the beat as well and took to the decks. Since then he has become a staple on MPIII.Com Radio, created FTWEM.Com a website dedicated to electronic music in his home city and helped run the longest running monthly electronic music event ever held in Fort Wayne as well as organizing and participating in the best electronic music events the city has ever seen. Sneaky has dedicated most of his free time to promoting, producing and presenting electronic music with the hopes that one day people will realize this is not the alternative pop music, but a way of life, a culture and a music that doesn't leave the consciousness as soon as you hit stop. Sneaky is a member of the Indiana branch of Bang Tech 12 (a Detroit based DJ crew spanning the globe) and will be having upcoming releases on this label.
